Editor's review
This is a software tool that converts PDFs back into AutoCAD compatible drawings.
It is a batch converter that converts PDF files to usable and editable AutoCAD DWG or DXF files. The drawing elements in the PDFs could be recovered to corresponding DWG entities easily. All the PDF entities are supported and these include polylines, polygons, text, etc. Either of the AutoCAD native formats DWG and DXF is easily handled. Layers in the PDF drawing are restored properly. This is a tool that complements the work of the converters that make DWG/DXF to PDF. Thus, if you have collaborators working with PDFs, then you need this particular tool to edit the original drawing to incorporate any changes suggested by the partners. You just take the converted file to the AutoCAD or a compatible tool and the edits are easily done.
This is a standalone program and does not need either AutoCAD/compatibles or the Acrobat tools to get things done. The interface makes it easy to collect the files for a batch list. You are able to add files or folders. You need to specify if you want a DWG or a DXF. All the variations on these file formats released so far are supported, by the way. You can simplify your work if all your drawings are inside one directory by checking that all sub-directories be included. Command line operation is supported in the Pro version of the program.
